Sen. Inhofe Discusses Views on Religion, Health Care

Washington, D.C. -- Senator James Inhofe is speaking out about the role Christianity plays in his decision making.

A viewer on C-SPAN posed the religious question to Inhofe.

"Sure the scriptures address some of these issues like abortion. Obviously that does have an influence on me, and it does on some others too," said Inhofe.

Inhofe said he thinks Americans have moved beyond voting based solely on a candidate's religious belief.

Inhofe also discussed his views on the need for health care reform.
