OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police are investigating an armed robbery at a southwest Oklahoma City Family Dollar.
Police were called out to a robbery at the Family Dollar, 2601 S. Walker Ave., shortly before 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 12.
When police arrived at the scene, an employee told police a black male in his late 20s to early 30s entered the store, picked out merchandise and brought it up to the front register. That's when the man told the clerk to give him all of the money in the register. When she refused to give him money, the employee said the man pulled out a silver revolver and pointed it at her.
The robber then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A witness said the robber drove off in a possibly "goldish-brown Cadillac."
