Metro Residents Turn In Expired Drugs On 'Take-Back Day'

Metro residents dropped off expired medications from at the Oklahoma County Sheriff's station Saturday at Quail Springs Mall.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- National Take-Back Day is an effort to crack down on prescription drug abuse and keep medications from being flushed into our water supply.

Metro residents dropped off expired medications from at the Oklahoma County Sheriff's station Saturday at Quail Springs Mall.

Participants also had a chance to win medication lockboxes.
