CASHION, Oklahoma -- More action with no resolution over the firing of the fire chief in Cashion gripped the central Oklahoma town Wednesday night.
Fire Chief Chantz Robinson and the rest of the fire department was fired earlier this summer.
On Wednesday night a personnel board was supposed to hold a hearing to decide if Robinson should have been fired and decide if he should be reinstated.
However, late Wednesday morning the town board filed a motion saying they didn't think the hearing should happen.
So instead, attorneys argued over an appeal that Robinson's attorney filed, withdrew, then refiled.
Meanwhile another full house of citizens showed up hoping to finally hear why Robinson was fired and maybe get a final resolution.
But the personnel board came back from executive session and said they agreed with the town and they did not have jurisdiction to hear the appeal.
Robinson says he will appeal the case to Kingfisher district court.
