Fireworks At Cashion City Council Meeting

CASHION, Oklahoma -- The Cashion City Council has asked the entire fire department to re-apply for their positions.

During a city council meeting Wednesday night, council members wouldn't say much about the request. They would only say an investigation is underway.

Earlier in June, the Cashion City Council voted to stop paying the fire chief. He was the only member of the department earning a salary.

There will be another city council meeting July 5.
