Edmond Doctor Charged With Sexual Battery Surrenders License

An Edmond doctor accused of sexually harassing several current and former female employees surrendered his medical license Wednesday.

Dr. Medhat Michael is charged with four counts of sexual battery. Police arrested him after current and former employees said Michael touched them inappropriately and subjected them to graphic, sexual comments. Workers said he would forcefully hug them, grab their body parts and tell them they were "getting him excited."

Michael is due in court Thursday, December 22, for a preliminary hearing.
