Two people were sent to the hospital after being struck by a car in Davis Thursday night.

It happened at 7:14 p.m. According to the Davis Police Department, a 63-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man were struck by a vehicle in the 600 block of East Main Street when they ran into the roadway.

According to witnesses, the woman was either laying or sitting on the side of the road in the grass when the man approached her to see if she was okay.
