Water Pressure Down In West OKC As Crews Repair Broken Water Pipe

Water pressure may be down in west Oklahoma City Monday night as crews work on repairing a water pipe that suffered a failure.

According to city officials, a 12 inch water pipe at the pump station at Reno and Westridge Drive has suffered a failure Monday afternoon. Crews are currently adjusting the water flow.

Customers in far west Oklahoma City may see temporary lower-than-normal water pressure Monday night, according to crews.

Officials say it may take a couple of days to complete the repair. But operations and water pressure should return to normal overnight.
