Grady County Sheriff's Deputies captured escaped inmate Dillon Lindsey around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Blanchard.
Lindsey was on the run for 17 hours before he emerged from a wooded area and approached his friends' house.

Lt. Roy Pratt said deputies chased Lindsey through a field Before taking him into custody.
"He knows he is in a lot more trouble now," Lt. Pratt said.
Meanwhile, Shane Wyatt, administrator for the Grady County Law Enforcement Center said he cannot reveal the details of how Lindsey got away from a jailer during a trip to Grady Memorial Hospital.
"All required correctional restraints were in place," Wyatt said.
Wyatt said the jail is now reviewing its policies and procedures, but he explained the jail makes "hundreds of transports a year without mishap."
Lindsey was booked back in Grady County Jail and faces charges for the escape as well as stealing a vehicle during his run from the law.
