According to deputies, Lindsey escaped from a jailer. The Grady County Sheriff's Office worked with the Oklahoma Highway, Chickasha Police Department and other law enforcement agencies to set up a perimeter and conduct a door-to-door search, and rain residents about the escape.

Deputies say Lindsay stole a car in the Friend area Tuesday morning. Deputies spotted the car and pursued him. Lindsey eventually bailed out of the vehicle and ran. With assistance from Oklahoma City's police helicopter and Blanchard Police, deputies caught Lindsey as he attempted to go to his friend's home.

Deputies say additional charges will be filed against Lindsey.
