The home of Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops was burglarized early Wednesday morning according to reports. Thieves made off with one of the family cars in addition to other items.
There were family members at home at the time of the burglary, but Norman police did not say which family members were in the house.
The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department released this statement: "Coach Stoops and Carol appreciate the concern expressed for their family and appreciate the efforts of local authorities who are handling this matter."
The break-in happened between 3:30 and 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Stoops was in Wichita, Kan. Wednesday night as part of the OU Sooner Caravan.
