Car Crashes Into Bethany Home During Police Chase

A suspect trying to outrun police lost control and crashed his car into a duplex in Bethany.

Around 3 a.m. Thursday, an officer tried to pull over a driver near N.W. 58th Street and Mueller in Oklahoma City for traffic violations. The driver refused to stop and sped away. Police officers from both Bethany and Oklahoma City pursued the driver.

A few minutes later, the driver lost control, swerved into a yard and crashed into the wall of a duplex home near N.W. 31st Street and MacArthur in Bethany. No one was inside the home at the time.

The driver was taken to OU Medical Center. His condition is not known, and police have not released his name.
