Oklahoma County deputies try to catch a wanted man who lead them on a chase and manhunt earlier Wednesday.

We were above the scene after that man crashed his car at I-40 and Post Road. It turns out this same man wanted for a string of car break-ins at an Oklahoma City daycare!

Many of those break-ins were crimes of opportunity. The moms would leave their purses inside their unlocked cars, and then rush inside the daycare to drop off their kids.

We talked with one mom who says it happened to her. Crystal Vassar still can't get over how quickly the thief managed to take her purse without anyone knowing. She says she parked right in front of the daycare office and was only gone a few minutes.

"I was in there maybe 3, 5 minutes," said Vassar," I come back , hopped in the car, got to work and realized my purse was gone!"

Vassar admits she left her door unlocked, and her car running. Fortunately the Childcare Network Daycare on N.W. 150th has surveillance cameras outside, and were able to capture these images of the thief - which police released.

You can see as he pulls in next to this mom who's taking her child out of the van. Little does he know there's a 5-year-old boy still inside!

While she's inside, he hops out of his truck and starts to walk nonchalantly to her van. Then, he opens the door, grabs her purse, but then notices the child in the back seat, and walks away.

In this case, he didn't get anything. But in all the other cases, including Crystal's, he's taken purses, cash and credit cards.

"I think its wrong and I hope he gets caught, said Vassar. "Some of us are single parents and it's a hard hit!"

Police believe the man in the video is the same man who led Oklahoma County deputies on a chase while they tried to serve an outstanding warrant Wednesday morning.

Jesse Hisaw is wanted for concealing stolen property, and a parent at the daycare says he is the man she ran into in the parking lot of the daycare.

Crystal says in her case, the thief got away with her purse, 120 dollars cash, and all of her credit cards. But he did not take her IPad, which she had in the front seat!

"He didn't even pick it up, So I was really thankful for that," said Vassar.

Vassar says she's kicking herself for leaving her car unlocked and running and says she'll never do it again.

"Don't do it," laughed Vassar. "Don't leave your car running and your purse or kids inside with the doors unlocked! Just don't do it!"

And police are still trying to track down Hisaw, but they now have his truck and are placing it and anything found inside into evidence.
