Oklahoma County deputies have called off the search for a suspect following a pursuit in southeast Oklahoma City.

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, a warrant team is searching for Jesse Hisaw, 50, after he led them on a pursuit just after 11 a.m. Wednesday. Deputies attempted to serve a warrant on Hisaw when he took off in a pick-up truck.

Deputies chased Hisaw in a 2005 tan Chevy four-door pick-up truck along westbound I-40 until he exited the roadway near Post Road.

Hisaw then drove through a field just north of I-40. Deputies found an abandoned vehicle in a wooden area just east of Post Road.

Now, deputies are searching for Hisaw in about a five to 10 acre wooden area off of Post Road, north of I-40. Deputies describe Hisaw as a white man, 6'1, 235 pounds with blue eyes. If you have information on his whereabouts please call 911.

The lockdowns at Barnes Elementary, Carl Albert Middle and Carl Albert High schools have been lifted.

Deputies searched for several hours before calling off the search.
