OKLAHOMA CITY -- It's a warm and muggy morning with showers and thunderstorms still in the state.

Morning temperatures around the state are in the 60s and 70s, and you will notice the humidity when you walk outdoors. Heavy rain and thunderstorms have dropped a lot of rain in areas of the state, and more is in order Thursday morning and up to noon time.

Later Thursday, morning rain tapers off and we will be only in the mid-80s for the afternoon high. Southerly winds pick up 15-25 mph by early afternoon.

A late day chance for thunderstorms is in the forecast and again some of those may be severe with large hail, strong winds and maybe a tornado.

So you will want to stay weather aware Thursday afternoon.

Thursday night, there is a chance for thunderstorms with an overnight low near 60 degrees. Things clear out for Friday and Saturday and sunny skies with 80s and 90s. Sunday may bring another round of storms.
