The Omaha Storm Chasers broke a scoreless tie in the eighth inning and went on to a 2-0 win against the Oklahoma City RedHawks Wednesday in front of 3,794 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The Storm Chasers (26-26) continued their winning ways in Bricktown, recording their seventh win in their last eight games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Rudy Owens made his first appearance for the RedHawks since making his Major League debut with the Houston Astros and pitched a season-high 6.2 scoreless innings. He allowed four hits, no walks and struck out seven to tie a season high in the no decision. Josh Zeid (2-2) was charged with the loss.
