The Pawnee County Sheriff's office is asking for the assistance of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation after two bodies were discovered at a home in Mannford on Wednesday.

According to reports, a home healthcare worker called the sheriff's office just after noon on Wednesday to conduct a welfare check on a patient at a home in the 3500 block of W. Basin Rd.

The responding deputies reported finding the bodies of two men inside the house. It was at that time that the sheriff's office requested OSBI assistance.

The state medical examiner will be left to determine the identity of the deceased men and determine their exact causes of death. Authorities say that the bodies were likely inside of the home for a few days, making decomposition an issue for investigators.

OSBI agents are conducting interviews and will continue to collect evidence. No other information has been released at this time.
