Three days of the hottest temperatures this summer starts on Friday.
Your morning is already warm and humid with mid 70s across the state. Later, 100 degrees with lots of sunshine and a southerly breeze 10-20 mph.
The UV index is maxed out at 10 and the heat index will be well over 100 degrees.
Friday night will be hot and breezy with overnight lows in the mid-70s. Saturday and Sunday will have the opportunity to reach 100 degrees as well, so prepare for this.
Climate wise, this week and next week are Oklahoma’s hottest temperatures for the year, and to “only” be at 100 degrees during this period is a pleasant treat.
Next week we will get even a sweeter treat with about four days in the 70s and 80s.
Have a great weekend and stay cool. The Heat Advisory will most likely stay with us all weekend.
