The win marked the second straight four-sets win for Oklahoma and came by way of 25-21, 24-26, 25-16, 25-21. Overall, the Sooners are 6-2 in four-set matches, including a 3-1 mark in conference matches.

“[Baylor] is a very talented team, just like everybody in our conference is,” started head coach Santiago Restrepo. “You're going to have to come out with your ‘A' game to beat a very talented Baylor and very well coached team. I thought, overall, we did a really good job of maintaining our composure and playing at a really high level.”

Sophomore Kimmy Gardiner posted her best match on conference play with a team-high 17-kill night, while committing just one error and hitting .615. She added six digs and a pair of blocks.

“[Kimmy] was pretty special,” stated Restrepo. “We have different hitters that are taking different turns being very good for our team.”

As a team, Oklahoma hit .331 to Baylor's .254. Redshirt-sophomore outside hitter Madison Ward tallied 16 kills with seven digs and hit .263. Junior outside hitter Kierra Holst was the third Sooner in double figures with 13 kills, nine digs and a .270 attack rate.

Junior setter Julia Doyle kept her streak of double-doubles in every Big 12 match alive at six with 46 assists and 13 digs, while adding three kills. Junior libero Taylor Migliazzo was second on the night for OU with 12 digs.

Baylor's Andie Malloy led all players with 19 kills, hit .400 and recorded a match-high 18 digs for a double-double effort. Sam Hill hit a match-high .478 and added 13 kills, while Katie Staiger notched 12 kills.
