Small Plane Hits Vehicle During Emergency Landing In Ardmore

An investigation is underway after a small plane made an emergency landing in an Ardmore neighborhood Sunday afternoon.

According to CBS affiliate KXII, at about 2 p.m. the pilot of a single engine plane tried to make an emergency landing on Lake Murray Drive after the aircraft lost power.

The plane skidded across the top of a vehicle before landing on the street.

We're told that plane was en route to Texas from Norman. The FAA and NTSB are looking into the cause.

No one was injured on the ground or in the plane.
