Durant Homeowner Injured After Truck Crashes Into House

A homeowner in Durant is in the hospital after a truck slammed into their bedroom.

Troopers say a man lost control of his truck and crashed into the home. The impact sent the homeowner flying across the room.

That person was taken to the hospital to get checked out. The driver of the pickup was not hurt.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but OHP troopers say speed was a factor.
