Injury Collision Shuts Down Franklin Road In Norman

Emergency crews have shut down Franklin Road in Norman, Oklahoma, Thursday morning as they respond to the scene of an injury collision.

According to Norman police, at about 6:42 a.m., crews responded to the collision in the area of Franklin Road and 12th Avenue Northeast.

The investigation is currently underway and the Norman Police Department urges drivers to avoid the area while crews work to clear the scene. Additionally, Franklin Road has been closed from 12th Avenue Northeast to 24th Avenue Northeast.

The collision is under investigation by the Norman/OU Police Collision Investigation Reconstruction Team. Police have not identified anyone involved in the crash.
