Arrest Made In Connection To Woman’s Body Found Near Spencer

Saturday morning, Norman police arrested a man for first-degree murder in the death of a woman, who's body was found by the side of the road in Spencer, Oklahoma.

The female victim was found near the intersections of NE 36th St. and Richardson Ave., just west of N. Hiwassee Rd., in the afternoon of Friday, June 10.  At this time, police have not released the name of the victim pending notification of next of kin.

Police said 32-year-old Keenan Lynn Holcomb was booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center for first-degree murder, kidnapping, and unlawful removal of the dead. Police said they had a second person of interest in custody but after questioning, that person was released.

The homicide remains under investigation.
