Police Arrest Two Men For Drug Trafficking After Stop In West OKC

Two men are behind bars, accused of trafficking drugs, following a routine traffic stop in west OKC, Tuesday night.

It happened on the westbound side of Interstate 40, near S. Meridian Ave., around 10 p.m.

Oklahoma City Police arrested 21-year-old Jayshon Clay and 28-year-old Rick Davis after initiating the stop and conducting a probable cause search of their 2016 Nissan Altima.

During the search, officers discovered four bundles containing nine and half pounds of methamphetamine and vacuum-sealed baggies containing 70 grams of marijuana.

Clay and Davis were booked into the Oklahoma County Jail for aggravated trafficking of meth and possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $51,000 for each count.
