The City of Edmond is reporting another widespread power outage on the east side of the city, Wednesday morning.
According to officials with Edmond Electric, power is out from Broadway going east due to two down substations. The city says the outage is affecting virtually the same area as Tuesday night.
A disruption in the city’s IT network is also complicating matters.

An estimated 4,000 customers are without power at this time. The city reports multiple traffic lights are out as well. Right now there is no timetable for when power might be restored.
On Tuesday the city said power was knocked out when a substation caught fire at a transmission line switch from Edmond Electric and OG&E. This substation is one of the two involved in the current outage.
