Public Invited To Remember Late OK Judge At Memorial Service

A memorial service will be held Wednesday for a well-known Oklahoma County District Judge.

Judge Donald Deason passed away suddenly last week after suffering a stroke. A memorial service will be held at Crossings Community Church and is open to the public.

Judge Donald Deason passed away last week after a stroke, shocking much of the community.  He was 63 years old, a prosecutor for 19 years, and then served on the bench for 15 years.

On Wednesday, the courthouse and court clerk's office will close at noon to let the staff there attend Judge Deason's funeral.

Other offices will remain open.

The memorial service starts at 2 p.m. The public is invited to remember the late judge.
