OKC Man Arrested On Multiple Complaints Of Child Sexual Abuse

An Oklahoma City man is facing several complaints of child sexual abuse for allegedly assaulting a young girl.

Police began investigating on Sept. 14, after being called to Children’s Hospital regarding a possible rape. The victim, a 10-year-old girl, told investigators in graphic detail that she was sexually assaulted by 27-year-old Tyinnocent Berry.

According to a report, the victim’s mother only became suspicious after returning home early from the store one day due to car trouble. The mother told police she walked in and startled Berry.

It was during this incident that the mother kicked Berry out of the house and asked her children what was going on. The mother told police her daughter eventually said Berry had sexually assaulted her on a number of occasions. Sha also told police that one of her sons admitted to seeing Berry and his sister “under the covers” on one occasion.

A SANE exam was performed on the victim at the hospital. The mother told police she did not know where to find Berry after she kicked him out of her house.

Berry was arrested on Oct. 19 and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on three counts of Sexual Abuse of a Child. Bond was set at $30,000 for each count and he remains behind bars.
