NWS Rates North Edmond Tornado As An EF-1

The tornado that touched down Monday night in north Edmond has been rated as an EF-1 tornado by the National Weather Service.

The tornado touched down about 9 p.m. near Seward in Logan County. 

The tornado was part of a line of storms that went through the Oklahoma City metro. Wind speeds of 50 to 90 mph were reported and flash flood warnings were issued. 

Damage was extensive across the metro.
