Our storm trackers not only chase severe weather but also devastating wildfires.

Last year, our Marty Logan spent most of his time on the road tracking the fires in western Oklahoma and, in one instance, getting too close to the flames.

“There was a herd of cattle. All of a sudden, all their heads turned. That fire had crested a hill, and it was racing right at me and the cattle," Marty said.

"It was a long four or five days for us. I want to do everything I can to save lives and property. This is a personal thing because it's affecting people I know. People were listening to us and evacuating their homes. We're saying it's headed in your direction, and it's racing. So, people were getting out of the way," he added.
