Natalie Cruz

Natalie Cruz joined News 9 as a multi-media journalist in June of 2022. She was born and raised in Southern California, and a graduate from Arizona State University with a B.A.S in Communications.

Natalie started her career in Grand Junction, Colorado as a producer and reporter for the morning show and shortly after moved to Rapid City, South Dakota. She landed in a role in the Black Hills as their morning anchor. She has covered an array of consumer and human interest stories. In 2021, she was the in-arena hockey host for the ECHL's Rapid City Rush.

Natalie grew up doing competitive dance and cheer. While in Arizona, her favorite activity was teaching ballet and Jazz at various dance studios in Chandler and hopes to make that happen in OKC!

When Natalie is not working she loves hiking, kickboxing and dancing. She is a huge rock & roll fan - specifically 90s grunge!

Natalie loves volunteering and is always looking to meet people around the community!
