Rogers County deputies unveil upgraded patrol fleet with new safety features

The Rogers County Sheriff’s Office is turning heads and boosting safety with a full makeover of its patrol fleet.

Over the past year, the department has upgraded both the appearance and functionality of its vehicles, changes aimed at better serving the community and supporting deputies in the field.

Residents will get a chance to see the new fleet up close at upcoming Food Truck Thursday events.

A New Look for County Patrol Units

Gone are the familiar white vehicles with blue graphics. The new fleet now sports a black base with white accents.

A visual upgrade that gives the Rogers County Sheriff Department’s cruisers a sharper, more modern presence on the road.

Emergency Lighting and Siren Upgrades

Deputies are now riding with improved emergency lighting systems to increase visibility during high-speed responses. Each vehicle features three separate sirens designed to help clear traffic in both rural and city areas.

Enhanced Safety and Functionality

Increased protection is also part of the redesign. New push bars help shield the vehicles during rural patrols, while half cages inside the units offer a safer, more secure way to transport arrestees.

These cages also preserve space for officer equipment.

Tech for Transparency

Each vehicle now includes a dual camera system — both in-car and body-worn cameras — aimed at improving transparency and documenting interactions during calls.

To streamline operations, deputies can now control lights and sirens directly from the steering wheel, helping them stay focused on the road during emergencies.

Community Invited to See the New Fleet

The Sheriff's office is encouraging the public to check out the new fleet during their Food Truck Thursdays, where they will be showcasing the new vehicles.
