The Oklahoma Highway Safety Office is encouraging everyone to be careful as we enter what they call the "100 Deadliest Days."

The time span runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The group says they see more severe brain and spinal cord injuries caused by motorcycle and car crashes during the Summer months. Drowning deaths also increase.

THE LEADING CAUSES OF UNINTENTIONAL INJURIES FOR CHILDREN:

• Infants under 1 year: Motor vehicle traffic-related injuries

• Children ages 1-4: Drowning

• Children ages 5-9 and 10-14: Drowning
