They are also pretty fragile creatures and have to be handled and carried in a very particular way.
Rabbits need annual veterinary care the same way that a cat or a dog would.
They need to be spayed and neutered like dogs and cats.
A lot of times they will need dental care later in their life.
Rabbits eat constantly which means they produce loads of waste.
When abandoned, rabbits will not survive without human care.
