Road closures expected ahead of Festival of the Arts

Several downtown roads will close in preparation for the 2025 Festival of the Arts.

Several roads are expected to close as Arts Council Oklahoma City begins preparations for the 2025 Festival of the Arts.


Starting Friday, April 11, the streets surrounding Bicentennial Park in downtown Oklahoma City will close as setup for the festival begins. The closures are expected to last approximately three weeks.


Which streets are closing?


Walker Avenue:

  1. Northbound from Colcord Drive to Robert S. Kerr
  2. Southbound from Robert S. Kerr to Main Street


Lee Avenue:

  1. North and southbound lanes from Couch Drive to Main Street


Colcord Drive:

  1. Closed from Shartel Avenue to Walker Avenue


Couch Drive:

  1. From Walker Avenue west to Lee Avenue, east to Hudson
  2. Couch Drive to Walker (Closed April 23-29)


Arts Council OKC says the Arts District parking garage will remain open. It also recommends utilizing the OKC Streetcar, which will be free throughout the festival.


Festival of the Arts will run from April 24-27. Affected streets will remain closed through May 5th.
