One person is in custody after a four-hour standoff in southeast Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
Around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, police moved in with tactical teams to line the streets near South Stiles Avenue and Southeast 48th Street.
It took hours to coerce one man out of his house after OCPD said he was shooting off his bow and arrow at a neighbor’s house.
“When officers arrived on scene, he decided not to come out of his house,” said OCPD Sergeant Jon Skuta.
At this time, police say there are no victims from the shot arrows.
“There have been calls out here before, but I do not know if it involved this same neighbor, but officers have been out here before,” said Skuta.
Police have not released the name of the man they arrested.
The man finally walked out of his house around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police are now investigating and asking neighbors what they know about the situation.
