Detainee Dies While In Oklahoma County Detention Center, Cause Under Investigation

A detainee was found dead in his cell Tuesday morning, according to the Oklahoma County Detention Center.

James Fetton, 27, was being held in the detention center on a $4,000 bond for allegedly failing to appear in court on a burglary charge.

The OCDC says they found Fetton unresponsive around 10:30 a.m. and medical staff were unable to resuscitate him.

The cause of Fetton's death is under investigation by the OCDC at this time.
