Many Oklahomans woke up to destruction Tuesday morning after overnight tornadoes and strong storms swept through several towns in the state.

Multiple people were rescued in Bartlesville, 20 miles northeast of Barnsdall, Monday night after a tornado ripped through a Hampton Inn Hotel.

Video footage shows the moment a tornado barreled through, ripping off the hotel's roof.

Thankfully, no one was hurt at the hotel, but there were still scary moments for people staying there. Many were trapped inside their rooms because so much tornado debris was blocking the hotel hallways.

A guest staying at the hotel Monday night recounted what it was like to be there while the storm came through and how the damage has affected guests of the hotel and residents of Bartlesville.
