Hometown Heroes: Janella Tears

News 9 and Quail Creek Bank want to recognize someone in our community who always goes the extra mile to help a neighbor in need.

This month's Hometown Hero is Janella Tears.

She is being honored for her more than 35 years of service to the community through Victim's Impact Panel.

Tears is the executive director of the organization that works to prevent impaired and distracted driving.
