Oklahoma City Police have identified one person who was killed in a shooting Tuesday morning.

Oklahoma City Police said they responded to the scene of a shooting shortly after 12 a.m. near Northwest 10th Street and North Rockwell Avenue.

Upon arriving to the scene, OCPD said they found 22-year-old Koby Caraveo injured as a result of the shooting.

28-year-old Christopher Burris was taken into custody after a brief search, while Caraveo was transported to the hospital.

On Wednesday, OCPD said Caraveo died as a result of his injuries.

Burris was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on complaints of assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony.
