Newly released body camera video shows officers arresting a man accused of driving high in November.

Police say Juan Diaz-Rodriguez assaulted the officers trying to arrest him on the side of I-244.

Tulsa Police pulled over Juan Diaz-Rodriguez after they said he was driving erratically and almost hit the officer's patrol car.

They said he didn't have a driver's license and gave different names and birthdates.

They say when they went to take him into custody, he tried to run across the highway, then fought the officers, and even bit one of them in the leg.

Officers used pepper spray to get him into custody.

Diaz-Rodriguez took off and other officers arrived to help search for him.

Police found him nearby and chased him between two houses until Diaz-Rodriguez gave up.

He was arrested for assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, operating a vehicle without a license, and DUI.

Police say he admitted smoking marijuana every day and had smoked before driving that day.
