#4: Friends Support Mother After Daughter Fatally Stabs Younger Brother

In February of this year, the friends and family of a nine-year-old boy were shaken after police said he was stabbed to death by his 12-year-old sister. Friends said the kids were living in a happy and safe home and there were no warning signs this could happen.

#6: Rogers County Deputies Find $2.5M Worth Of Drugs During Traffic Stop

In March, deputies in Rogers County said they found 115 pounds of meth and more than two pounds of fentanyl in the trunk of a woman's car, which they believe came straight from the cartel. Sergeant Ron Walker said this is the largest crystal meth bust he's had in his 30 years in law enforcement.

#7: Billion Dollar Theme Park And Resort 'American Heartland' Planned For Vinita Along Route 66

Development for a $2 billion theme park and resort to be built in northeast Oklahoma was announced in June by state leaders and developers in Vinita. The entertainment destination would be just west of Grand Lake on Route 66. Developers say The American Heartland Theme Park and Resort will be a 1,000-acre site with a 125-acre theme park "comparable to the size" of Disney's Magic Kingdom.

#8: Man Accused Of Killing Dog During Grooming Appointment In Tulsa

In September, officials with Tulsa Animal Welfare said surveillance video from Doggie Doodle Grooming showed a groomer attacking a dog and not lowering the support bar enough, which led to the dog choking to death.

#9: Alsuma: The Ghost Town Inside Tulsa

Oklahoma has dozens of ghost towns and one of them is located between Tulsa and Broken Arrow. In April, News On 6 took a look into the long-forgotten town of Alsuma with was consumed by the growth of communities around it.
