Standoff Ends After Police Deploy Gas In South Oklahoma City Apartment

A man has been arrested after a domestic dispute escalated into a standoff in south Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Police were on scene near Sunnylane Road and Southeast 59th Street.

Police officials say the dispute started between a man and a woman; the man would not let her leave. The woman was able to call the police when he fell asleep, and he is now refusing to leave the home.

Police say they deployed 'less than lethal gas' and the man exited the home. He has been arrested on an outstanding warrant along with numerous new charges.
