ORU Women Pick Up 1st Win Of Season, 100-47 Over Friends University

The ORU women's basketball team picked up its first win of the season on Thursday, beating Friends University 100-47.

More than 6,000 fans packed the Mabee Center Thursday morning, a majority of them school children for "Best Field Trip Ever."

Six Golden Eagles finished in double-digits, led by Taleyah Jones' 22 points and 3 rebounds. Jalei Oglesby chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. ORU shot 43.5 percent from the floor, 29 percent from the three-point line.

The Golden Eagles travel to Norman on Sunday to take on the Sooners.
