Bicyclist Hit, Killed By Vehicle Near UCO In Edmond

A man is dead after authorities say he accidentally swerved his bicycle into oncoming traffic on Saturday in Edmond.

It happened right in front of the University of Central Oklahoma off 2nd and Garland Godfrey, according to Edmond Police.

First responders performed CPR on the man while waiting on paramedics to arrive, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Edmond Police believe the man was homeless. They say the driver was not at fault.
