Disagreement Between Neighbors Leads To Oklahoma City Injury Shooting, Police Say

One person was hospitalized after a shooting that began as a disagreement between two neighbors, Oklahoma City Police said.

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A shooting left one person hospitalized and another in custody Thursday evening in northeastern Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said the shooting happened at around 9 p.m. on Thursday near Northeast 15th Street and North Kate Avenue, and began as a disagreement between two neighbors.

"The victim went to the suspects house and walked on the front porch," OCPD Lt. Jeff Cooper said. "The suspect came outside, produced a gun and shot the victim."

OCPD said they arrested the person they believe is responsible for the shooting and took the weapon into custody.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
