The name that continues to boil the blood of Sooners fans is Lincoln Riley. He’s now claiming that his house was broken into after he made his grand exit from the state, but according to police, they have no evidence of this happening.

“I had a lot of different people trying to break into the house the days after it happened. And 95 percent of the fans and people out there at Oklahoma or anybody else is great. You typically always have that percentage that at times, take it too far. Obviously, this was one of those cases,” said Lincoln Riley.

Riley sat down with Graham Bensinger in his In-Depth interview. This is one of the first times he’s really opened up about his decision to leave OU.

But Norman Police can’t confirm what Riley claims. They have no reports filed in November or December 2021.

There were two service calls that were made three weeks after the announcement. The incident report cited suspicious activity, and the other caller claimed a black Cadillac Escalade kept driving by.

“I told my wife and the couple of people that I confided in the night we made the decision; I told them it was going to be bad,” said Riley.

Riley left the University of Oklahoma after an embarrassing end-of-season loss to Oklahoma State University.

Dean Blevins, the man who waited for Riley the morning after the OSU game, says Riley’s story isn’t what others are reporting.

“I recently heard that he told the OU brass the night of the OSU loss that he was staying in Oklahoma,” said Blevins.

News 9 reached out to Riley’s team for comment. But did not hear back in time for this report.
