Pins & Projects: Uncle Sam Door Hanger

For Friday's Pins and Projects, Coleen Conine is teaching us how to make an Uncle Sam door hanger.

Materials:

1. Red/white striped fabric
2. Navy fabric
3. White fabric
4. Wooden stars
5. Hot glue gun
6. Scissors
7. Small wood ball
8. Precut hobby wood
9.   x1 large (8x10)
10.   x1 small (2x12)

Instructions:

1. 1. Cover the large rectangle with the striped fabric
2. 2. Cover the smaller piece with the navy
3. 3. Glue your stars onto the navy
4. 4. Glue your small piece of wood to the lower part of the large price
5. 5. Cut strands of white fabric (the beard) and glue to the back of the hat you just made
6. 6. Glue the small wood ball (the nose) to the bottom of the hat onto your fabric
