More Water Outages Expected In Okmulgee As Crews Work To Fix Storage Tank Leak

Some residents in Okmulgee County have gone more than a week without water as officials work to find and patch a storage tank leak.

Officials from Okmulgee Rural Water District 2 say more outages are coming as they close the main tower to find the problem.

Officials say they only have a little over 50,000 gallons left in the reserve and have faced several setbacks.

Residents have been under a mandatory water ration since Wednesday.
