Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Closed Following Canine Influenza Outbreak

Oklahoma City Animal Welfare is closed due to another outbreak of canine influenza.

The virus prompted the facility to close for weeks earlier this year.

The shelter said those who adopted dogs this week should monitor them for symptoms including coughing, lethargy, runny eyes and more.

If symptoms do occur, you're advised to take your pet to see a veterinarian.
