2 Injured In Wynnewood Refinery Fire Identified

Two people injured in a blaze that began Tuesday morning at an oil refinery owned by CVR Energy in Wynnewood have been identified.

Two plant employees, Eli Warran and Wes Foster, were seriously injured as a result of the fire that began at around 8:20 a.m.

Warren is in the ICU with burns, and Foster was flown to Texas for treatment with burns covering 90% of his body, authorities said.

Foster is set to have surgery on Thursday or Friday.

CVR Energy said the fire occurred in the refinery's gasoline hydrotreater, but did not explain a possible cause.
